IMCHK Collaborates with NGO TREATS in HKPC Diploma Program (9th October 2010)

Dr. Thomas Tang, President of IMCHK presents the cheque to Ms. Kris Tong, Executive Director of TREATS

IMCHK has supported HKPC's Certificate Program in Managament Consulting for 2 years. This year, in collaboration with TREATS, an NGO specializing in childrens' development, IMCHK conducted the final stage of the program using a real-life case study for students to work on and to present to the actual client in their presentations. Ms. Kris Tong, Executive Director of TREATS together with Dr. Thomas Tang, President of IMCHK, assessed the final work of the students. "It was an interesting session for me, as I was able to learn new ideas as well as critique the students' work" said Kris afterwards. It is hoped that this collaboration will lead to further opportunties for consultants who are IMCHK members to be able to work with the NGO sector more frequently to share much needed ideas and skills in this important sector.  IMCHK presented a cheque to TREATS for HK$2,000 in support of their work after the presentations.
